We've Got a Crawler!

This past month, I think Sara Jane has learned more tricks than in any of her previous months of life. Our girl is officially mobile! And if we thought life was crazy before...oh boy. We're in for it. I'm going to need to start babyproofing this house pretty soon because our girl is getting more and more curious (and cute) every day.

THIS is the face of a stinker who slept blissfully through the night almost every night for like four months and has now decided she LOVES waking up at 4:00 a.m. most nights! I guess we all have to pay our dues at some point.

She may not be sleeping as well anymore, but she is eating lots of new foods and loves most everything we put in her mouth! An unfortunate side effect of this is that pooping is a lot more difficult. But, I can't complain because we've been having much fewer blowouts!

This month, Hayden and I participated in a musical production by the LDS Art Institute called "Come and See." We sang with the Deborah Bonner Unity Gospel Choir, and it was a wonderful experience! Because we had to do three different filmings of this show, we spent six hours one evening and 13 hours the next day at the Conference Center. We brought SJ to the first day of rehearsals. This picture of SJ taking a nap right next to Harry Bonner makes me smile every time I see it:

I went out on the stage with this little monkey on my back:

As cute as she is, it was way too exhausting having her around, so Grandpa Steve and Sassy came all the way up from St. George to spend the day with her in Centerville. Hallelujah!

Speaking of grandparents, here are some of my favorite pictures of SJ with some of her grandparents this month. I sent this picture to uncle Jonah on his mission in England and he said, "Woah, that baby is massive!" :(

She loves to swing in the swing next to our apartment.

Georgia isn't a grandparent, buuuut look how cute this family pic is with Georgia, SJ, and Winnie. <3

Sassy bought SJ her Fourth of July outfit.

And here's our girl with her G-G-Pa.

Speaking of the Fourth of July, SJ had a great time hanging out with grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was a little unsure about the fireworks, so I plugged her ears and she fell asleep as a sort of defense mechanism. Here she is at her first fireworks show in Midway:

The Sunday of July 4th weekend, all of these girls wore blue and white striped dresses and they didn't even plan it!

She was being such a loud stinker during church, but how can you get upset with this little face?

Or this one? I LOVE this little outfit of hers.

I'm pretty sure Sara Jane has been to more rugby games than the average American thanks to uncle Gabe, and she's only seven months old. Here she is with uncle Asher when Gabe got to play at the Warriors professional rugby stadium:

Asher *pretends* to not care that much about SJ but we ALLLLL know she's got him wrapped around her chubby little finger.

If you don't have a picture of yourself sleeping with your baby on the couch, are you even a dad?

Finally, I have to include this picture because it's just too cute. We're lucky enough to live in an apartment complex where SJ has a lot of friends her age! Here she is with Hadley. They like to hang out on the front lawn every day at lunch and it's been the cutest thing watching them grow up and become more and more aware of each other. Hadley likes to attack SJ's face and SJ tries to eat Hadley's head (I think she thinks it's a boob?) but someday they'll be the best of friends. :)

That big, messy smile on Sara Jane's face gets me EVERY TIME.

We've sure got our hands full now that our girl is mobile, but BOY are we compensated with some serious cuteness. We sure love our crawling baby girl!
